Community Garden Butt Hill cont'd
When work is finished in the Autumn everyone in the community will be able again to appreciate this amenity and enjoy glorious views of the South Pennines. In addition the Kippax in Bloom Group will be able to use this area as a stepping stone to extend their efforts into the south and west of the village. By the way, as this process happens we would really appreciate more volunteers from those parts of the village.

Kippax Integrated Design Statement (KIDS)
Huge efforts are being made on this front. The workshop in July was well attended and proved to be a fascinating exercise in getting to know the village. Much of this success is due the professional and unstinting help from our cheerful Architect Peter Baker. We will be holding the Sequel (Part Deux) soon - Keep an eye on the shop windows.

Results from the questionnaires are now being entered onto the database - Again, thanks to all those who took the time to complete and post a form. Congratulations to local school-children on a 100% return! PRIZE DRAWS at August KCEF Meeting………………Winners will be notified a.s.a.p.

Kippax in Bloom
The final judging of our (…and your) supreme efforts for 2003 was on 23rd July and everyone there felt that we could not have made a better impression on the day - we will find out the results in early September. The wildflower meadow on Gibson lane was judged a week earlier and looked splendid in yellow and blue, complete with bench and Bee-Hive.
